My very dear friend.
Another year and here we are, let’s thank God, our Lord. We are very grateful for allowing us to enjoy the beauty of life, to caress the hand of our most beloved, to enjoy the presence of the children, for having survived natural disasters, for having contemplated the green of the greens and the yellows of the flowers and the blues of the ocean and the sky, for having received a pat on the back by the hand of a friend, for having had the time and the space to contemplate the passing of the birds and the migratory whales and also for that beautiful girl, for having spoilt our son or our father or our mother, for having learnt to enjoy the cold and the heat, distinguish between what is smooth and what is rough, what is sweet and what is savory, for having the strength to hurry up and not to weaken on the way, for clinging to our work, for being inspired, for having the opportunity throughout the year to marvel at and be excited about the beauty of every day, for not having left us during our routine and during boredom. For knowing how to look for new challenges, for having found in our fellow men, those close and those far away a supporting hand, an encouragement, a reinforcement of essences, for receiving an enormous amount of zest for living and for being from our every day’s chores.
Let’s give thanks, too for finding the difference between good and bad and for accepting that many of us make mistakes but we receive energy and disposition to get up and correct them because we encounter teachings and the spirit of not giving up. Above all let us give thanks for receiving the gift of having gotten out of bed today and facing a new day and for the opportunity to enjoy the greatest gift of all: life itself.
Marvelous beautiful life
Full of surprises
With undeserved compensations
Flowers and butterflies.
Rain, birds and dew
Beginning and end
Infinite, eternity
After giving thanks the only thing left is a wish going in all directions: from you to me, from me to him, from him to us and from us to them.
Give yourself time for reflection
Give yourself time to think
To meditate
To read
To pray
To make friends
To work
To laugh
To rest
To play
To look for unicorns
To talk to a tree
To work more
To sleep
To dream.
Give yourself time to be happ
To listen to a bird
To inflate a balloon
To work
To lull your son to sleep
To study
To invent a story
To sow a plant
To create illusions
To defend your ideals
To love
To protect the trees.
Give yourself time to feel okay with yourself
With all my esteem,
