Sherri Tracey's Show at Ada Colorina's Studio and Gallery
Provided by Ambito- March 2006
Ada Colorina presented a wonderful collection of art pieces by Chicago artist Sherri Tracey at her Gallery Studio in Paso Ancho. The exhibition took place in the framework of the visit by the Sister Cities Committee from Highland Park, and it originated by the contact established between the artists back in the Port Clinton Art Festival, in which Ada Colorina participated as part of the activities of Puerto Vallarta’s Sister Cities committee in Highland Park, Ill. last year.
It was a very nice event, with live chamber music provided by a strings trio made up of members of the Highland Park Strings orchestra, who played pieces by classic authors like Haydn and Mozart as well as beautiful renditions of popular pieces like La Paloma and Spanish Eyes.
