Erotic Festival

Framed into the celebration of the II Erotic Art Festival in Puerto Vallarta, programmed for October 3rd. to 8th, The Loft Galería offers an excellent exhibition with the participation of internationally prestigious painters and photographers.
 "Artist with his Models", original piece by Gunther Gerzso, considered the most important modernist painter of Mexico in century XX, heads the list. Nine excellent photographic pieces of Rogelio Cuéllar -- artist referred previously in this space -- author of some of the more known images of Juan Rulfo, Diego Rivera, Jorge Luis Borges, Octavio Paz and hundreds of other first-rate artists in the Latin American art and culture ambiance, friend and collaborator of Lola Alvarez Bravo and recurrent image of Mexico in the exterior in addition to a dozen of works by Ricardo Vinós, original from Spain and collaborator of Rodrigo Moya and the famous Cuban photographer Alberto Kordá, will comprise the exhibition.

Davis Birks, one of the artists of greater weight and prestige in the national circuit, resident in Vallarta has prepared, specifically for the festival, an original piece with his own vision of eroticism, from which a lithographic edition of 100 serial pieces, signed by the author, will be available at a quite accessible price. www.davisbirks.com
Harry Carmean, catalogued like a draughtsman master next to Delacroix and Picasso, and his wife Miriam Slater - Henry Kissinger, Jeff Bridges, Angelica Huston, Jack Nicholson, Quincy Jones, HRH Abdullah Bin Abdullah To the Asiz, HRH Turki Bin Nassir Bin To the Saud, Los Angeles Museum of Art, among her collectors-- will be, also present at The Loft by means of an excellent collection of oils, drawings, etchings and watercolors.
The expressionist fantasy of Antonio Sedano, Spanish painter of international prestige will be also at The Loft: www.antoniosedano.com.mx as well as the subjugating realism of Bill White.
This exhibition will be available to the public starting on October 3rd. On Thursday the 5th, a coctel will be offered counting on the presence of some of the participant artists from 7 to 10p.m.
