The History of Painting, described in an editorial manner by means of images and texts have been the catalyst that urges Carlos Vargas Pons to the creation of a personal style that, based on a medited intention and exceptional resolution, it looks for been inserted, and it obtains it, in the universal flow of the art. The formality and discipline in the studying and exercise of the profession have been the bridge that allows him to reach the evident technical and conceptual dominion that characterizes each one of his canvases.
Already considered, despite his youth, in the category of contemporary painting master by CONACULTA and deservedly positioned in a preponderant site in the national and international circuits of painting, Carlos Vargas Pons work contains, by the author’s impetus, an extensive and doubtless potential.
 The Loft Gallery proudly presents “EDITORIAL”, recent work by Carlos Vargas Pons. The different associations of images that conform the exhibit, thematically refers to diverse fields of culture and science, in a proposal that, simultaneously, challenges the spectator to the aesthetic assimilation of the complete set and invites him to think about the limits of the artistic structures as well as the way that the human being have accumulated and related his discoveries in order to respond essential questions about our origin and development.
The inauguration, with the presence of the author, is programmed for February 7, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. You are cordially invited.
