Colorina in San Miguel - Big
success of a local from
Vallarta!

As we had reported, Ada Colorina
exhibited in the Atenea Gallery
in San Miguel de Allende on
last February 14th to 28 th
, resulting in an extraordinary
success that compelled the
painter to extend her stay
in this beautiful city.
 According to Isaac Uribe Romo,
owner of the Atenea Gallery,
the exhibition was presented
to a select number of guests
on the opening day of the show.
Immediately the guests expressed
a complete liking for Ada Colorina's
work. The success was such
that those present requested
the painter to carry out new
works for private collections
- including some of the topics.
The exhibition was programmed
for 2 weeks, during which the
audience increased every day.
The public of San Miguel de
Allende was most fascinated
by the joy that Ada Colorina
is transmitting through her
colors and combinations. The
exhibition put its main emphasis
on the traditions of San Miguel
de Allende and included paintings
of very representative sights
of the area.
The confirmation that Ada
would exhibit again en Atenea
Gallery next year was received
with pleasure. The Atenea gallery
is considered the most prestigious
one of San Miguel by critics,
experts, collector and international
clients.
 On congratulating Ada for
her achievements, she told
us that it was Puerto Vallarta*s
success and that she felt very
happy that the local art of
Vallarta was received so well
in such a well informed and
demanding market. She commented
on having felt welcomed, admired
and very loved all the time
by everybody, especially by
the owners of the gallery.
She was always treated very
kindly and with an utmost attention
for providing her with a pleasant
stay in San Miguel de Allende.
Since last year there has been
a hint that 2004 would be the
year of Ada Colorina and that
is the way is has turned out.
The exhibition in San Miguel
de Allende has only been the
beginning. Very soon we will
be the channel for announcing
the good news of international
future events where Ada Colorina
and her work will be the perfect
frame to let the world know that
Puerto Vallarta is the cradle
of art, joy, life and coloring.

Como
habíamos comunicado,
del pasado 14 al 28 de Febrero,
Ada Colorina exhibió en
la Galería Atenea en
San Miguel De Allende, resultando
en un extraordinario éxito
que obligo a la pintora a prolongar
su estadía en esa hermosa
ciudad.
 De
acuerdo a Issac Uribe Romo,
propietario de la galería
Atenea, en el día inaugural
la exhibición fue presentada
a un selecto número
de invitados, los cuales de
inmediato expresaron su completo
agrado por la obra de Ada Colorina.
El éxito fue tal que
inclusive de algunos de lo
temas, los asistentes solicitaron
que la pintora realizará nuevas
obras para colecciones privadas.
La
exhibición fue programada
para dos semanas, durante las
cuales la audiencia fue en
aumento cada día. Lo
que más cautivo al publico
de San Miguel de Allende, fue
la alegría que Ada Colorina
transmite a través de
sus colores y combinaciones.
El tema de la exhibición
hizo énfasis principalmente
en las tradiciones de San Miguel
de Allende, e incluyo pinturas
de sitios muy representativos
de la zona.
Con
mucho gusto se recibió la
confirmación de que
el próximo año,
nuevamente Ada exhibirá en
Galería Atenea, la de
más prestigio en San
Miguel, avalado por críticos
de arte, conocedores, coleccionistas
y clientes internacionales.
 Al
felicitar a Ada por su logro,
ella nos dijo que el éxito
fue de Puerto Vallarta y que
se siente muy feliz de que
el arte vallartense haya sido
bien recibido entre un mercado
conocedor y exigente. Ella
nos comentó que por
parte de todos, especialmente
de los propietarios de la Galería,
en todo momento le hicieron
sentir bienvenida, admirada
y muy querida. El trato siempre
fue muy amable y con absoluta
disponibilidad para facilitarle
su estancia en San Miguel de
Allende.
Desde
el año pasado
augure que este año
del 2004 sería el de
Ada Colorina, y así esta
siendo. Su exhibición
en San Miguel de Allende fue
solo el inicio. Muy pronto
seremos el conducto para dar
a conocer las nuevas buenas
de futuros eventos internacionales
en los que Ada Colorina y su
obra, serán el marco
perfecto para transmitir al
mundo que Puerto Vallarta es
cuna de arte, alegría,
vida y colorido.
