| Puerto Vallarta's 6th Arts Festival Begins This Week |

year's Arts Festival will be held from November 1st to 17th. It will offer a total
of 61 events including over 380 artists who will perform in eight different venues,
according to the head of the city's Department of Culture, Maria José Zorrilla
and her two colleagues in the event's organization, Sr. Abel Villa of the Buenaventura
Hotels and Sr. Armando Soltero, director of the Preparatoria Regional school. From
troubadour/minstrels to puppet theaters, from Los Arcos to the village of El Zancudo;
from Armando Manzanero to the national gathering of "bandas", Puerto
Vallarta's 6th Arts Festival is made possible thanks to the collaboration between
the Department of Culture and the various sponsors - most of which are local hotels.
It will also present an alternate program where music and theatrical performances
will be held in the town's various neighborhoods. Schedule
