"Omeyokan" The Gallery of Dr.
Ayotl - A
very intimate space of Mexico.

If there is anyone in Puerto
Vallarta who knows and transmits something about
the origins of Mexico through his work, it is Dr.
Ayotl (the "heart of
the water" in the nauatl language). He is a passionate
researcher of the Mexican life, above all before
the arrival of the Spaniards. Dr. Ayotl says that
he feels the responsibility to rescue and to transmit
our essence to the new generations, as well as our
inevitable connection with the universe, which can
be known - amongst other things - through the life
style of our ancestors, their traditions, rituals
and pieces of work
 According to Dr. Ayotl, each movement, each space,
each detail that our forefathers were, carried out
or manifested, has a special meaning that connects
us at the end with a creative force, which is our
genuine power of supply and which sustains our life.
Through his paintings and
sculptures - amongst other
expressions of art - Dr. Ayotl passes on knowledge,
traditions, feelings and beliefs transporting us
to places that we could never have imagined in our
minds. Having started on last February 27th, "Omeyokan" (the
place of duality where everything is created" in
the nauatl language) is an intimate space in Puerto
Vallarta where it is possible to appreciate the identity
of a Mexico through native and contemporary pieces
of work. This identity will never die and according
to the results of some studies, it is just about
ready to revive in order to lead its people towards
a perfect harmony of man and his inner universe.
The opening of the "Omeyokan" gallery
coincided with the start of the Art Walk in the
romantic zone. Personalities and art experts had
an appointment in the gallery to admire the unique
work in Puerto Vallarta and to wish Dr. Ayotl success
in his new adventure.
There is still much to talk about and know concerning
Dr. Ayotl's work. He is considered a unique artist
in his genre. However, there is no one better than
him to share every aspect of his work in detail.
In the "Omeyokan" gallery - amongst
other expressions - the visitor can admire painting
as pictures, murals, sculptures or textiles and
art made of wood and/or of metal.

Si existe alguien en Puerto Vallarta que conozca
y transmita a través de sus obras, acerca
de los origines de México, ese es el Dr. Ayotl
["el corazón del agua" en nauatl], quien es
un apasionado investigador de la vida del mexicano,
sobretodo antes de la llegada de los españoles.
El Dr. Ayotl dice sentir la responsabilidad de rescatar
y transmitir a las nuevas generaciones nuestra esencia,
así como nuestra inevitable conexión
con el universo, misma que se puede conocer entre
otras cosas, a través del estilo de vida de
nuestros ancestros, sus tradiciones, rituales y obras.
De
acuerdo al Dr. Ayotl, cada movimiento, cada espacio,
cada detalle de lo que nuestros antepasados eran,
realizaban y/o manifestaban, tiene un significado
específico que termina por conectarnos a través
de una fuerza creadora, que es el verdadero poder
proveedor y que sostiene nuestra vida.
A través de la pintura y la escultura, entre
otras expresiones de arte, el Dr. Ayotl nos transmite
conocimiento, tradiciones, sentir y creencias que
nos transportan a lugares que jamás en la
mente nos pudiéramos imaginar. "Omeyokan" ["el
lugar de la dualidad donde todo es creado" en nauatl],
es a partir del pasado 27 de Febrero, un espacio íntimo
en Puerto Vallarta donde se puede apreciar, a través
de la obra de arte indígena y contemporánea,
la identidad de un México que nunca muere
y que según resultados de algunos estudios,
esta a punto de revivir para guiar a su gente hacia
la perfecta armonía del hombre y su universo
interior.
Con la inauguración de la galería "Omeyokan" también
dio inicio la Caminata del Arte en la Zona Romántica.
Personalidades y conocedores de arte se dieron cita
en la galería para admirar un trabajo único
en Puerto Vallarta, y desear éxito en su nueva
aventura al Dr. Ayotl.
Mucho hay para conocer y
hablar acerca de la obra del Dr. Ayotl, quien es
considerado un artista único
en su genero. Sin embargo, nadie mejor que el para
compartir detalladamente cada aspecto de su trabajo.
En la galería "Omeyokan" el
visitante puede admirar pintura en cuadros, murales,
escultura, trabajo textil, arte en madera y/o metal,
entre otras expresiones.
