FISHING REPORT

Weekly Fishing Report - From 6th to 12nd, 2004

Provided by Master Baiter's Sportfishing & Tackle

Busy week down here in P.V, it looks like the game its On! Big Fish out there now!, a lot of trafic but it seems like everybody is having fun out there!, we have some good friends down here from Cabo San Lucas.

I guess they know how serious can get when it comes to" Big Fish"  you have to be out there to know  we do have a better chance of getting Bigger fish than anywhere else in all  México!. Nice Boats, Cielo Mare, SummerTime, and Karma from Cabo San Lucas. They have been fishing hard at The Bank lately making things look a lot more interesting since we always like to have some competition out there. The water is krystal Blue, and its Hot! 89 degrees out there. The actual issue that is getting everybody nervous is the Bait!!, it is frustrating somethimes to get the skippies, get the planners down, get your Diamond jigs or put the brightest colors on your huchies!, and if you dont have any Tuna Tubes, Man do I feel sorry for you, because the Bait its hard to get these days. The Tunas are Bitting at Both Places Corbeteña and The Bank, a nice 43 Cabo yatch called Karma has been Fishing hard at The Bank along with High Maintenance with Captain Steve.

They both have hooked  several Tunas over 250lbs and lost a couple of Big  Blacks, Steve said he had twice hooked on a Marlin that was easy over 800lbs.

Just when they where getting here, the guys from SummerTime at the Bank, they hooked a nice 800lb and pretend to break their own record these days. Like we said it has been a bussy week, almost everybody has caught Marlin out there, mostly blues, but just to count a few this week we are going to start mentioning everybody that got a Marlin in the last 4 days.  Totoaba, Macarella, from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle:  El Arca de Noe, with Captain Zanguindongui. The guys from Karma, Summertime and Cielo Mare. and of course High Maintenance with Captain Steve Torres.

The Yellowfin are all over the place, and it feels like you where in Irak walking on a mine yard, the bomb can go on at any time!,  Fernando Boyer and his Captain Chilangón  along his 26 foot Bosco Boat  went out to corbeteña and left the Marina at  2pm just to hit the grownds on the late bite and it was ON!, They took some skipjacks on the tuna tubes from  inside the bay and Jammed the Tunas out at Corbeteña in the evening. Nice move guys!  where is the pescado!, we heard you guys got 3 big ones!

Another remarkable catch that we´d like to stand out is the biggest sailfish caught here in P.V. A nice 117 inch sailfish caught on Sea Trek last week out of Corbeteña, along with the catch that made the trip of their life time for the kids from Mission T.X. Ryan Whitlock and Friends Fished on High Maintenance and came back with what they wanted to catch. Congratulations for these young anglers we are proud to make you happy!. As the rain keeps on cooling of the heat the tunas are starting to bite more & more, now we are looking at a possible 50/50 on the yellowfin as the week goes by. From the reports that we have the tunas  will Strike back anytime!!. The report at the end states that the yellowfin are ahead of the game! although there is big black marlin out there trying to Hit  a home run!!, we´ll keep you posted all the way.
