Welcome back, last week I missed
my deadline, so no report sorry, I will try not to happen
again. Now on to the good news the fishing is incredible
right now for marlin and yellow fin tuna.
Corbeteña has been very hot;
hookups on black marlin are aromatic.
Every boat going to corbeteña this where targeting
black or blue marlin has hooked up every day they have
worked out.
 Magnifico
on Monday has 3 hookups and got two to the boat, both
realized the third are a 10 lb live yellow fin tuna,
jumped and sounded and ripped 600 yards of 100 lb. test
line off of a pen 50w without even thinking about slowing
down, this monster was estimated at aprox. 900 lbs.
by captain pepino a very experienced long term charter
& privately owned boat captain, I believe his estimated.
Strike one was the big winner the
week racking up a whopping 9 marlin to the boat in four
trips to corbeteña and three yellow fin 200 lbs
plus, strike one is a 38 ft. lures open, fast and comfortable
with excellent equipment on Tuesday four Canadian -------
-------- their money looking to have the fishing trip
pf a lifetime, and that’s just aboard strike one
to the rock (corbeteña) they arrived just after
day break and the bait was already up. They got three
baits out and while putting out the four the short rigger
went off with a big boil just off the back of the boat
on the stread and the shimano 50 lines screaming while
clearing the lines another went off double hooked on
giant yellow fin tuna now the fun begains two unexperinced
fisherman with much more at the and off their lines
than either could have even anticipated. Luckily for
them they headed the same way and that along with the
skirt of the captain and crew 1er and 20 minutes later
both fish were on board. The other two man each hooked
black marlin everyone was extatic and they left the
docks vowing their return.
