The president of the Riviera Nayarit Hotel and Motel Association, emphasized the commitment of the association along with the Convention and Visitors Bureau and the state government to join forces in the task of positioning the new destination Riviera Nayarit on the international scene.
He also said that promotion will continue with events such as golf , fishing, film and gourmet events, among others to make the services and facilities of the zone known, along with the warmth of the people in the region.
Governor Gonzalez, in turn, affirmed his commitment to work in coordination with private and government institutions to make Riviera Nayarit the best destination in Mexico, without dismissing the older sister, which is Puerto Vallarta.

The tournament final stages are being held today, with a field made up of 125 international players, in the Pro Am mode, that is, one professional and three amateur players per team. The purse is 125 thousand dollars. Twenty five of the top Mexican golfers, among them Pablo del Olmo, are participating in the tournament.
In a press conference held Tuesday, organizers emphasized the importance of the event in the promotional efforts aiming to position the destination in the golf market, since “everything is given to do it”.
At the press conference it was commented that over 350 rooms had been reserved, and many of the participants will stay in condominiums, which means an important economic inflow is expected into the destination.
