Dear Editor,
I work in the Admissions office of St. Michaels University
School in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and plan
to come to Puerto Vallarta around February 21 st .
We have a boarding programme from Grades 8-12 and
would be delighted to add to our meager current Mexican
population of 5. I was wondering who reads your paper.
It sounds like it is more for tourists than the local
ex-pat community. I would like to get word to the ex-pat
community that I would be delighted to meet with anybody
who is looking for an outstanding university preparatory
boarding school in Canada.
I look forward to your reply and
thank you in advance for your time.
Best regards from
glum and overcast Victoria,

Dear Editor,
Just to let you know how much I enjoy reading the
newspaper from the States.
I live in Vallarta 6 months out of the year. I read
the news on the internet when I am back in the States
and feel as though I haven't missed a beat. When I
come back to Vallarta I know all the things that are
being constructed, news about the bus situation, Malecon
events and so much more.
Thank you so very much for your internet news. www.pvmirror.com
It is the best thing that ever happened.

Hello,
I am interested in visiting Puerta Villarta on ym
vacation. Is the electricity (Volts and Hrtz) the same
in Mexico as it is in the United States?
Thank you for your time,
Dennis
Dear Dennis,
Not to worry, Mexico functions on the same voltage
as the rest of North America.

Hello there,
I am coming to PV in a month and want to check out
some of the places in the picture gallery... could
you tell me how to get to the Falls at Quimixto and
Yelapa, and then Chico's paradise??? That would be
just GREAT!
Thanks,
Ashley Wells
Dear Ms. Wells,
You can get to Quimixto and Yelapa with a water
taxi. These leave from the pier at Los Muertos beach
or you can get one from Boca de Tomatlan, which is
on the way to Chico's Paradise, about 20 minutes
by car or bus - south of town.
The Ed.
Hi!
Later this year, I will be traveling to Puerto Vallarta.
I am interested in visiting a ceramic tile and a glass
blowing factory. Are there any in Puerto Vallarta that
welcome tourists? Is it possible to purchase items
at a better price then at a regular store? I would
appreciate any information that you my be able to provide
to me!
Thanks,
Tom
Dear Tom,
There are glass blowers in various shops around
town and the ceramic tile factory is called Mundo
de Azulejos, located at 374 Venustiano Carranza St.
You won't have any trouble finding it once you're
here.
The Ed.
