Another Wish Granted!
The Make a Wish Foundation, Mexico, once again has
successfully granted a wish. Lazaro, a 15 year old
boy suffering with osteosarcoma ostegenico is originally
from Puebla, Puebla, but thanks to the assistance of
the Casa de Amistad he is now receiving much needed
treatment in Mexico City.
Lazaro´s story is heartwarming.
In the first interview with him, he was quite timid,
not knowing what to wish for. Fortunately he finally
made a decision. Because he likes to listen music
so much, he wished for a modular sound system. Due
to his family's economic condition, he could never
even hope for such an extravagance.
Within a few days MAW, Mexico
was able to fulfill his wish. When presented with
the sound system, Lazaro could not believe his eyes.
His dream had become a reality! Suddenly a he broke
into a big smile and thanked us with hugs and kisses.
Lazaro beamed saying, "It
is good to have dreams, after all.¨
