| Touring Disneyland with Sleeping Beauty
Thanks to the power of a wish, arrangements were made by Make A Wish Mexico fo r Gemma, a fabulous 11 year old girl with Imperfect Osteogenesis. She went to Disneyland accompanied by her mother where she met her favorite Disney movie character, Sleeping Beauty. Sleeping Beauty introduced her to two other princesses, Cinderella and The Beauty from Beauty and Beast.
Gemma and her mother returned to Mexico three days later. They were exhausted, which is the best sign of a great vacation.
“It was the most wonderful experience! But, the best part was when Sleeping Beauty appeared with Cinderella and The Beauty to show me the park, they knew my name!” Gemma told us.
Our specials thanks to Disneyland, Delta Airlines, and Sheraton Anaheim for enabling another terminally ill child feel the power of a wish and to “forget” about being sick for a day.
