Last week charming Evelina Chávez invited some of us, colleagues in the travel trade, to the opening of JapaNice Sky Bar.
JapaNice is located at the corner of Morelos and Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez Streets, one block up from the Malecón. On its ground floor lies a handsome Asian restaurant, covered by a cathedral-ceiling where the lighting fixtures appear to float in the air.
You may take the stairway or the elevator, past the glass-enclosed wine cellar, to arrive at the Sky Bar.
The Sky Bar is an open penthouse terrace-lounge on a wood-deck inviting you to celebrate every sunset, as it features an unobstructed view of the bay from the very heart of the downtown area.
Our hosts Miguel and Perla Padilla, as well as their PR Evelina welcomed us to JapaNice’s Sky Bar; there a fully stocked premium bar readily catered to each and everyone’s thirsty whims while a colorful sushi bar added to the pleasant sights on and off the panoramic terrace.
A great diversity of drinks were offered and the sushi was really good, I look forward to coming back to try their menu, referred to by them as modern Japanese cuisine in a contemporary style.
Both the restaurant and the Sky Bar are very well appointed. Blessed be those who bring out the best in them during challenging times!
