Wagons West!

Throughout the history of the Americas, the earliest settlers and their descendants have steadily made their way westward as these continents were populated by European colonists. The vast expanse of open land and its untapped wealth exerted its magnetic attraction on our hale and hearty ancestors.
Today a different force is flexing its muscles and is encouraging a new westerly migration. What is this potent power you may ask? Why none other than Mother Nature herself! The Caribbean, east and gulf coasts have received more than their fair share of her attention of late. Tropical depressions and hurricanes have wreaked havoc upon these storm ravaged areas causing many inhabitants to seek safer home sites.
Puerto Vallarta has emerged as one of the prime destinations for this resurgent move west. A relatively consistent climate, a rarity in this ever changing world, combined with a well sheltered bay present a powerful drawing card to those looking towards the Vallarta Corridor for relief. As anxiety compounded by, in many cases, repeated rebuilding tribulations rises, the number of “new settlers” to Vallarta rises apace.
This new “Wagons West” phenomenon, along with Vallarta’s natural beauty and easy accessibly, has encouraged developers to erect new projects in order to accommodate this influx of humanity which in turn has driven property values upwards and continues to do so.
As in ages gone by, climate has proven once more to be a motivating factor in the realm of human relocation with Puerto Vallarta being trust into the forefront giving new meaning to the old phrase “Go west young man”!
