Real Estate

Ampi is committed to the creation and expansion of its own platform of information through the implementation of a MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE software which will open networking channels throughout North American and provide members with accurate, precise up-to-date data needed to create their unique marketing strategies.

Ampi believes that this platform of information is a vital tool for our growth and continuous improvement as an industry and as professionals. We are dedicated to the management of the system in an ethical and unbiased manner.

“Inaction is the riskiest response to the uncertainties of an economic crisis.”
Harvard Business Review Feb 2009

We as agents in Ampi must be open to change: the world economy has changed, our market is changing, and our clients are changing.

The real estate industry and those of us working in it face daily challenges. The uncertainty of our situation is unsettling. It is time to work together, to be proactive, and to evaluate what our assets are and how to leverage them effectively.

Through history, collaboration has moved economies, societies, and communities forward.  Ampi believes this is the key to facing the future together.

• How Does A Multiple Listing Service Work?

Brokers have inventory to sell: homes and land. Real estate brokers with a marketing plan use a tool:  This tool is a database to manage and register the inventory into a “storage cabinet” which allows certain information to be shared by giving permission. This is a MLS or multiple listing service.

The MLS connects to advertising, websites, and programmed email blasts to members and clients.

Everyone you connect to can view your inventory at any time with permission which you control.

Your inventory can be seen anywhere you program it to be seen… by buyer’s looking for homes and land.

A Multiple Listing Service is a marketing database whose purpose is to provide accurate and structured data about properties for sale.

It benefits the seller by exposing his property to a wider group of potential buyers than would be available from one exclusive broker.

An MLS allows exclusive brokers to offer compensation to buyer brokers who bring a buyer to their listed property.

A MLS system accumulates and disseminates information to enable appraisals.

Real Estate professionals have been using Multiple Listing Services since 1968.

In our industry the MLS is the best and most proven way to manage our industry’s data. Through networking contracts, this service can connect us to more than 50,000 brokers all over the USA, Canada and Mexico, thereby giving our inventory maximum exposure.

An MLS service will help members make better decisions about marketing and where to target their spending.

An MLS service will reach more possible clients by sharing a system with brokers across North America.

An MLS service will give members access to a system whose functionality allows them to meet with objectives in an efficient and profitable manner through better administrative functions.

This content written above was covered in a recent important meeting of the three chapters of Ampi in the Bay of Banderas, Mexico. The exciting option to see and review MLS systems will be the agenda of the members within the next 30 days.

The survival of the market here is dependent upon some conditions out of our control, and some in our control. We should control our inventory and use it as a source of learning to enable us to make better choices. Better choices give us an opportunity to survive in this current market and to prosper when it returns. Email to a friend
