Villa Mercedes - A very special Inn

If what you want is to stay in a small inn, reliable, extremely clean, very typical of Vallarta, decorated with fine taste, romantic and with all the services of a  grand hotel, strategically located, with personalized attention, all at a fair price, then I have news for you: You found it! Your place is Villa Mercedes.
Just as I have described it above, that’s how Villa Mercedes is! It has six studio type rooms, five junior suites, three one bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment - all equipped with kitchenette, air conditioning and cable T.V.
Besides having had the perfect excuse to enjoy a honeymoon with all the romanticism attached to it, the perfect location of Villa Mercedes in the “Romantic Zone” of Puerto Vallarta, makes it really a special Inn.
 After a day at “Los Muertos” beach -which is a block away from Villa Mercedes- back from a swim and after resting for a while, we went out for a stroll through the zone as two regular tourists yearning to discover the town. The experience was fascinating. There are all type of restaurants, bars, cafeterias, shops, internet cafés, galleries, arts and crafts, drugstores, and practically all services are located near Villa Mercedes. In that zone, you can breathe a party feeling that is highly contagious to one and all.
Our room had a balcony overlooking the street, which gave us the opportunity to also enjoy the ambiance without having to leave the room. The whole place is immaculately clean, decorated simply, with impeccable taste. The building was originally built in 1959 and seven years ago it was completely renovated to open its doors as Villa Mercedes.
 Villa Mercedes is a family-run operation that ensures excellence of service by checking everything down to the most minute detail. Its owners are always on top of the operation to ensure that their guests feel at home. At this time, they are offering a continental breakfast on the patio with the new swimming pool from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This is an excellent opportunity to meet the other guests, to listen to their recommendations and plan the day ahead.
Everything at Villa Mercedes exudes harmony. The rate per night depends on the season and the type of room you choose. In April a studio for two -at high season rates- goes for US $84.00. Each room or suite has its own special features and very personal décor.
