 On May 28, 1979 Bishop of Tepic Adolfo Suarez Rivera consecrated Our Holy Lady of Guadalupe Church and the Church altar. Bishop Suarez placed relics from martyr Saints of Auxilio and Prospera. He blessed the stone sculptured faces of the twelve apostles that Reverend Aldana had ordered for the church. The three ministers’ mass service was solemn with the participation of 60 priests. It was an unforgettable day for the community! In a moving ceremony, Father Aldama turned the Church Vicary to Señor Reverend José de Jesús Meda before leaving for Africa.
The Bishop signed a testimony grating churchgoing people a year of indulgency on each anniversary of the consecration. He also grated visitors who went to church on each anniversary, 500 days of indulgency. Email to a friend
